As far as I can tell, Drudge and the vast right wing conspiracy broke this important story over the weekend. It showed up in the blogs Friday, was on Drudge by late Friday or early Saturday and made its appearance on Foxnews yesterday or early this morning. Another article here. Not that I have checked every other minute but I have yet to see it appear on CNN.
One of the myriad of important aspects to the story is the prosecution or lack of prosecution of “Honor Killings” by Western Authorities. A study on how Honor Killings differ from “normal” domestic abuse.
Mark Steyn’s take. Steyn’s headline is apparently a take-off of a famous NY City article entitled “Headless Body in Topless Bar” or something to that effect.
